Joseíto Fernández – Guajira Guantanamera (1929)

Guantanamera is Spanish for “the woman from Guantánamo”. It’s one of the most famous Cuban songs of all time and was first played on the radio back in 1929. You might also recognize the song from “The Godfather II” – it’s played during the movie’s New Year’s Eve party in Cuba.
