Lesley Gore – It’s My Party (1963)

Quincy Jones “discovered” Gore at 16 and brought her a number of demos. “It’s My Party” was the only one they both liked. The Swedish version “Leva livet” (“Living Life”, 1963) was a huge hit for Lill-Babs.
