The La’s – There She Goes (1988)

“There She Goes” has a unique backstory. The song was written by singer and guitar player Lee Mayers and recorded by his band The La’s. The track was featured on the band’s only album “The La’s” and released as a single four times!

The four releases landed on #51 (1988), #13 (1990), #65 (1999), and #181 (2008) in the UK Singles Chart. The latest release (2008) celebrated the single’s 20^th anniversary. The low ranking in the charts might be because the release was vinyl only.
